Nestled into the mature landscape adjacent to the clients’ existing Victorian home is a new 2 car garage and workshop with studio, kitchenette and bath above.
The slope of the hillside allowed for a private entry to the studio from the upper lawn with a stone stair down to the driveway. The lower level garage is connected to the house by a curved covered walk through a perennial flower garden. The project also included reorganizing the entry, mudroom, WC and laundry areas of the existing house.
